This Privacy Policy explains what QuickMDSim collects, why, and how to reach us. It covers quickmdsim.com and app.quickmdsim.com. The Terms of Use govern use of the Service.

1. What we collect
- Account data — email address, password hash, verification status, and when you accepted the Terms.
- Project data — project names, input files, potential files, job metadata, logs, and output artifacts you generate.
- Billing data — plan, credit balance, and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers. Card numbers are handled by Stripe, not stored by us.
- Support — whatever you send to our contact email.
- Site analytics — the marketing site uses Google Analytics (GA4). The app uses a session token in your browser.
- Technical logs — request metadata needed to operate and debug Cloudflare Workers, Pages, R2, and job runners.
2. How we use it
- Create and secure your account, including email verification via Resend.
- Run jobs, store files, and show results back to you.
- Bill for plans and compute credits via Stripe.
- Prevent abuse, debug failures, and keep the Service working.
- Understand marketing-site traffic at a high level (GA4).
- Reply when you email us.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Who processes it
We use vendors to run the product:
- Cloudflare — hosting, database, object storage, and job compute.
- Stripe — payments and the customer billing portal.
- Resend — transactional email (verification).
- Google Analytics — marketing-site measurement.
Those vendors process data under their own terms. We do not share Your Content with other QuickMDSim users.
4. Retention and deletion
We keep account and project data while the account is open. You can download your files from the app. To delete an account, email [email protected]. We may retain limited records as required for billing, security, or law.
5. Cookies and local storage
The app stores an auth token in localStorage so you stay signed
in. The marketing site may set GA4 cookies. You can block analytics cookies in
your browser; the app will not work without a way to keep you signed in.
6. Children
The Service is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Location
We operate from the United States. If you use the Service from elsewhere, you understand your data may be processed in the U.S. and in the regions our vendors use.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version lives at quickmdsim.com/privacy, with the effective date at the top.
